EXCITING NEWS FOR SPRING 2013

The Condor Trail has secured a matching grant with the National Forest Foundation that will pay the Condor Trail a dollar for dollar matching amount up to $5,000.  We’ll be using this money to participate in the Wilderness Stewardship Challenge by providing online resources and education for many of the Southern Los Padres wilderness areas.  So for every dollar we collect between now and summer 2013 the National Forest Foundation will match up to $5,000.   Great news!  Thanks for your support and we hope to see you on the Condor Trail soon.

Volunteer

The CTA is looking for volunteers. There is lots of work to be done and we’ll welcome any of your time
or skills that you might be able to contribute to the Condor Trail. We need help doing trail work,
administrative organization – again whatever skills you can bring to the table – we’ll gladly take.

  

Condor Trail

The Condor Trail is a recreational thru-hiking route designed to connect the northern and southern portions of the Los Padres National Forest by a single hiking trail. The hiking/backpacking trail is approximately 400 miles long and extends from Lake Piru (border of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties) in the south to Botchers Gap (just south of Monterey, CA) in the north.
